Uh Oh…Another Sophia Zoe

Tonight I discovered that there is a person who lists her website as SophiaZoe dot Com, sorry I am not going to link to it, but if you feel inclined to visit I have made it so that you will be able to figure out the url.

Now, I do not know this SZ, but because she uses the name that I am known throughout the Cyber Flu Community, and because her website is involved in something that could be assumed to be something that I might be interested in (alternative therapies) I feel obligated to state that the Sophia Zoe at SophiaZoe dot com is NOT me.

While my internet alias is not common, unlike my real name, Debi, it is not unique either. Although I have used it, or the original derivative, for a little over two decades, starting with IRC as ZoeSophia, rarely have I run into it, or what I currently use.

I make no judgment on this other SZ’s internet enterprise, but what I do I do for no monetary compensation or considerations, and it is solely confined to Pandemic Flu information exchange, unless I am participating on one of the PanFlu dedicated online forums and then I may stray into other topical issues.

Maybe I should start signing my name as SZ…the Flubie….

Regrettably, it could be coincidence or could be a rip-off. There may be some remedy for you or a way to make sure that when your content gets scraped you’ll know about it (adding a link back, for example).

//engtech at http://internetducttape.com/ urges everyone to get their own domain name, even if not used but that takes money and at least 3 names (com net org)
