I am rapidly settling into my new home here at A Pandemic Chronicle, but I’ve hit somewhat of a snag on the comments.
When comments are posted they are not showing up, although I get notified of their arrival and can read what they say via the email notification. I’m a bit flummoxed by the whole thing.
Joel and Jay S. I did read your comments, and I thank you for them. I just wanted to say that I am still working on the issue and not ignoring you. Of course, I can’t place a comment in response because mine won’t show up either.
Ah well, in the computer world, nothing is ever bug free.
Addendum 07Aug08:
I have [temporarily] decided that sometimes it’s just time to admit defeat. I’ve switched out themes and now my comments are behaving as they should. I actually like this theme very much and might well have chosen it to begin with had I found it first.
Still some “stuff” to work out and time is always at a precious premium during the first week of the month, but APC is getting there…slowly to be sure… but still getting there.

Dear SophiaZoe,
How impressive is your new site! Wow, while browsing it I am baffled and a bit jealous. Naturally, you do have a huge advantage of a couple of years, but nevertheless. I took the liberty to link your ‘A Pandemic Chronicle’ to my blog, not that you need this exposure, but mainly because I want my few readers, novice as I am to the world of viruses, to get to know the Real Thing. I came in touch with Crof and he was so kind to help me a bit to get on my feet and walk alone. While reading on his H5N1 I was attracted to the article in which he referred to your site. Being in a constant time need, I only landed on your site today. And ones again, wow! I will visit often, on one hand to get useful information, but certainly also to enjoy and learn!
Thank you and regards,
Ma Yingshen

Hi, Sophia Zoe–
I like your new design. The first version looked dramatic, but perhaps a little too much like a newspaper. The present design is clean and open and very readable. Congratulations!
Cheers,
Crof
