Task Settings

Task Settings

Automation lets you run a predefined task on specific user accounts filtered out from the settings configured from this section of RegistrationMagic. Following settings are available for Automation tasks…

Task Name

Set a name for the automation task, that will also act a unique identifier for that task in the task list.

Description

Add a description to the automation task for a more detailed overview of it.

User Account Rule

Enable this rule to select users based on their account states to run the automated task on. Two types of user account states are:

  1. Activated User Accounts: Select only those users whose accounts are already activated on the site.
  2. Deactivated User Accounts: Select only those users whose accounts are already deactivated on the site.

Submission Age Rule

Enable this rule to select form submissions based on the time elapsed after submission. This rule can be configured on the following two criteria:

  1. Submissions older than: Use this criterion to select form submissions that are older than a specific number of days from the date of running the automated task.
  2. Submissions younger than: Use this criterion to select form submissions that are younger than a specific number of days from the date of running the automated task.

Field Value Rule

Use this rule to selection form submissions based on matching field values. Multiple values can be added with the use of the pipe ‘|’ symbol.

For example, with the Email field that a form has, you can select only those submissions that have been completed from a selection of email addresses. Here’s how multiple email addresses would be added to this rule to select only the form submissions completed by them…

example1@example1.com|example2@example3.com|example3@example3.com

Payment Processor Rule

Use this rule to select form submissions based on the payment processor used for form submission checkout. Available payment processor options are…

  1. PayPal
  2. Stripe
  3. Offline
  4. Authorize.Net

Payment Status Rule

Use this rule to select form submissions based on the status of payment. Available payment status options are…

  1. Completed
  2. Pending
  3. Cancelled

Note: Selection rules will only filter a submission if all enabled rules are true for that submission. For example, if ‘Field Value Rule’ and ‘Payment Processor Rule’ are both enabled, then only those submissions will be filtered in that fulfill both the rules. Submissions fulfilling either one of the enabled rules will be filtered out.
