Also create WP User account?

Enabling this option will add Username and Password fields to the form and will also allow registration of users in the WordPress Users section. Enabling this option is required for forms that allow registration of users along with form submission. A user can select his/her own username and password with the Username and Password fields while submitting the form.

Assign WordPress User Role

Requires Also create WP User account? option to be enabled

Use this option to select a role that will be assigned automatically to the users getting registered with the submission of the form. All user roles already existing within the WordPress Users section will be available here in the dropdown menu.

Allow Users Choice of Roles

Requires Also create WP User account? option to be enabled

An alternative choice to automatically assigning user role, this option allow users to select a role from the form itself. This option offers a greater level of flexibility to users when it comes to assigning roles. As site administrator, you will have control over which roles users can choose from the form to assign to themselves.

If this option is enabled, the Assign WordPress User Role option will remain inactive, even if a user role has already been selected there.

WP User Role Field Label

Add the text here that you would like to appear on the frontend as the label of the role selection field.

Allow Role Selection from

Requires Also create WP User account? & Allow Users Choice of Roles options to be enabled

Select the user roles from this set of checkboxes that you would like users to select from on the form’s frontend. Only the user roles selected from here will appear for selection at the form’s frontend display. All user roles created from the WordPress Users section with be available here in the checkboxes.

For security reasons, it is recommended that you do not allow selection of Administrator role on the form, unless absolutely sure that the users submitting the form will require Administrator level access to the site.

Force Login after Registration

Requires Also create WP User account? option to be enabled

Enable this option to allow users to automatically login as soon as their account is successfully created along with form submission. In case there is any payment required to be made with the form submission, the user account will only get activated once the payment has been confirmed on the user’s selected payment processor.

Please note that auto-login will only work if you have auto-approval for user registrations enabled. This can be enabled from Global Settings >> User Accounts. Also, the user will have to reload the page at the end of the process in order to have the login be effective.

Email as Username

Requires Also create WP User account? option to be enabled
This option only available in RegistrationMagic Premium

Enabling this option hides the Username field from the form. Instead of a specific Username, the user’s email address will be used as the Username. This option helps in keeping Usernames for the users unique on the site.
