Redirect user to specific page after form submission
Its great idea to redirect user to specific page after the form submission. Make sure the page you have redirected solves the purpose, as part of customer journey workflow.
Redirecting user to specific page after form submission is easy; you can manage this workflow from simple setting from your WordPress dashboard.
Configuring the user redirection feature
Click on the RegistrationMagic plugin from your WordPress dashboard. Here, you will find all the forms that you create through this plugin. Now as you move your cursor on any form card you will find two links appearing at the bottom corners. These are the Dashboard and Fields link.
The “Post Submission” section allows you to configure the redirection steps after submission.
Click on it and begin configuring. The field “Success Message” displays a confirmation text once the form is submitted successfully. The next field generates a unique registration token number for the user.
Next, lets discuss Redirection. This automated function redirects the user to a page you have specified after successful form submission.
Choosing the page where you want to redirect the user
From the drop-down select the page you are going to redirect your customer to. You can specify any custom page, or general pages such as Login page and Submissions page.
Choose one selection. In our example, we will be redirecting the user to the Login Page. Click Save.
Go back to All Pages and submit the form from your specific page. Upon submission, a message stating “Redirecting you to Login” will take you (or your user) to the Login Page.

Hi,
I don’t want to redirect and I selected the “None” option. But the page is still reloaded after submission. Is it possible to NOT reload the page?
It’s because my form is into an expandable section that the user has to click in, and after the reload this section is collapsed by default. So the success message (or eventually the failed message because of reCaptcha) is not visible.
Thx for helping.
Hi Matock,
To allow submission of form without page reload, please use the HTML form embed code instead of the shortcode.
Can we customize the URL according to the answer from the field value that we created?
URL example: https://example.com/{dropdown_field_value}
Hi Dil,
The URL field value cannot be customized automatically based on input of other fields.

Is it possible to change the text after the form submission that says “Redirecting you to….”?
Hi Jeremy,
This can’t be edited from the backend. But you can change it using LOCO translate if you want to translate it to another language.
Thanks for the reply, where in the backend exactly?
I see, is there not a way to edit the text in the plugin editor? There is also a lot of tags which space it out too much. If I remove the br tags using css then there is no space between ‘Redirecting you to’ and the ‘next page text’ which looks odd.
Hi there,
Is there no way this can be editted? Not even through the plugin editor?
Hi Jeremy,
It’d be great if you can create a support ticket here, so that we can understand your requirement better and provide you with the best possible solution.
Thanks,
I want to redirect after a Login. My process is that user’s register, then we configure their accounts and activate them and notify them. From that point forward a Login form is used to control access and provide necessary parametric information. However, I need to redirect to a URL, not an existing WordPress page. Like I can for a Registration Form.
Currently, the requested feature is unavailable. However, we have analyzed and added the feature to our road-map list. It may be included in one of our upcoming versions. Note that the features implementation is driven by user demand and on first come first basis, so we cannot give a timeline at this point. We will mention the feature in the change log on our plugin page at WordPress.Org, once it’s available. Thank you for the feedback.
I can redirect after login, but I cannot Display the Username on a Welcome page. I tried the [RM_Front_Submissions] shortcode on the page I redirected to, but the session doesn’t even know that the user logged in. It is stupid, and I submitted a ticket, but nobody has responded.
Go to RegistrationMagic> RM_Login ‘Dashboard’> in ‘logged in view’> enable: display user’s name > save it.
How may I redirect to a private page?
To redirect to a page after form submission, go to RegistrationMagic > dashboard of the form > post submission > set ‘redirection’ to the specific page here and save it.
I face the same problem, user not redirected to a page or specific url after submiting form, everything is set and I see success message but don’t redirect.
Please make sure you are using the latest version of RegistrationMagic. Also, go to RegistrationMagic-> Dashboard of the form-> Post submission-> Redirection. Here select the URL or page you want the user to redirect to.

Is form submission available for diffrent pages? (I mean one form submision redirects to one page another form submission redirects to another page).
To redirect user to a new page after form submission, go to RegistrationMagic > Dashboard of the form > Post submission > Set redirection to a required page or URL > Save. Post submission, redirection needs to be set individually for each form.
