Newsletter Integration

This section of RegistrationMagic allows you to setup Newsletter subscriptions along with form submissions. Once activated, users will be able to subscribe to one of your Newsletter lists with data from the form’s custom fields mapped to Newsletter list fields.

Newsletter Integration

Enabling this option will allow you to fetch your Newsletter lists into individual form settings and then map selective fields to your Newsletter list fields. Once a user has submitted the form with Newsletter integration on, the data for the fields that have been mapped with a Newsletter list will be sent to your Newsletter account directly.

Checking this box will open two more options: Send to Newsletter List and Show opt-in checkbox.

Send to Newsletter List

Requires Newsletter Integration option to be enabled

Select a Newsletter List from the ones available in the dropdown. Registration Magic automatically populates this dropdown with your Newsletter lists. It is required that the Newsletter plugin is installed and active on the site for Newsletter Integration to work on individual forms.

Send to Newsletter List field is followed by multiple field names for the purpose of mapping with the selected Newsletter list. These fields are…

  3. Last Name
  4. Gender

Show opt-in checkbox

Requires Newsletter Integration option to be enabled

Enabling this option will display a checkbox, allowing users to opt-in for subscription to the Newsletter List selected from the Send to Newsletter List option. Enabling this option will also reveal two more options: Opt-in checkbox text and Default State.

Requires Newsletter Integration option and Show opt-in checkbox to be enabled

Add the text here that will appear with the opt-in checkbox on the form on the front-end. The default text ‘Subscribe for emails’ is already available as placeholder reference.

Default State

Requires Newsletter Integration option and Show opt-in checkbox to be enabled

Use this option to set the default state of the Opt-in checkbox that will appear on the form on the front-end, if Show opt-in checkbox is enabled. There are two options to select for this field…

  1. Checked: Select this to have the Opt-in check on the form to appear checked by default.
  2. Unchecked: Select this to have the Opt-in check on the form to appear unchecked by default.
